Maker Faires are community-based events that celebrate local maker culture and promote learning. They are produced independently. Joining the Make: network to produce an event in your town, city or region empowers local makers and learners of all ages and connects them with maker culture around the world.

Maker Faire, which is part science fair, part fair of the county, and part new thing, is an event for all ages that brings together tech enthusiasts, craftsmen, educators, tinkerers and hobbyists, as well as engineers, science clubs and authors, artists, student and entrepreneurs.
