We chose the Greene County Expo Center after reviewing 12 alternative sites (120 Fairgrounds Road in Xenia, OH 45385). The 2023 International Festival was beyond our expectations. Greene County Expo Center: Thank you for your dedication and hard work in helping our group make a smooth transition into our new home.Food! Dancing! Music!We like to have fun and try to ensure that you and your family have a great time at the festival. In the background, our mission is to educate. Our visitors should not only be entertained and fed, but also educated.History: A World A'Fair is a three-day international festival that has been held annually in Dayton, Ohio at the Dayton Convention Center. The organizers and 35 non-profit organizations from over 50 different countries were all represented by booths. Two full-time stages were used to showcase performances by local, regional, national and international groups. In 2019 we had >25,000 total attendees. In 2019, we had >25,000 total attendees. In 2020, we would have celebrated our 47th anniversary, making us the second oldest international festival in Ohio after Columbus.Dayton International Festival, Inc (DIFI) is the organizer behind the festival and our Board is made up of the now 36 countries/ethnicities that take part in it. Our members are all non-profits and DIFI is an exempt charity under 501C3. Everyone involved in the festival's running, including the people who work the booths or perform on the stages, is a volunteer.Tweet.
